Cancellation Policy

Please read our Cancellation Policy carefully.

Okanagan Lakefront Resort does not offer full refunds. Acceptations are rarely made to this policy.

  • Guest cancellations made 7 days or more days prior to check-in are charged 50% of the booking amount.
  • Guest cancellations made 6 days or less prior to check-in (including no-shows) are charged 100% of the booking amount.
  • Early departures are non-refundable.
  • Okanagan Lakefront Resort is not responsible for cancellations and adjustments to guest bookings made through online travel agencies, such as Expedia and Booking.com. Though we welcome guests to book through these two platforms, only bookings made through the website can be adjusted by our staff. Please do reach out regardless and we will be happy to assist you where possible.

Check-in time:  4pm.  We will be ready for you!

Standard check-in time is anytime after 4:00pm and checkout time is 10:00am. Please call us at (250)493-1128 or email us at [email protected] to request adjustments to check-in and check-out times.


Check-out time: 10:00am. Seize the day, friend!

You can check-out any time up until 10AM local time. Later check-out times may be requested although we may not always be able to accommodate changes and will depend on availability and on how busy we are.
Please note that a more detailed inspection of the room is usually made after the check-out time and we reserve the right to make charges for any damages, breakages or applicable fees.

Non-Smoking

Okanagan Lakefront Resort is a strictly non-smoking or vaping property. Smoking or vaping onsite will result in a $1000 fine in addition to full reservation payment, and immediate removal from the property.

General Policies

  • More guests stay in the room than agreed.  The number of people residing in the room should be the same as confirmed in the booking and cannot exceed the occupancy of a unit.
  • All our guests are asked to respect the property, privacy and enjoyment of our guests and to not make any excessive noise. Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am, including weekends.
  • Okanagan Lakefront Resort is not responsible for lost or forgotten personal items on the resort premises.


Damages

During your stay, the room and all equipment and furniture should be treated with care and kept in order. Immediate notification to front-desk staff will be expected of any damages or breakages in the room. Management will asses damages on a case by case basis. Please note the pet deposit policy.

Please note: there is a $250 deposit held during your stay in case of pet accidents and damage returned upon check-out. Accidents happen!

Extending Your Stay

After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive.
If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check-out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this can include relocating you to a similar room should this be necessary.

Pet Policy

Okanagan Lakefront Resort has select rooms available for pets, with a 15% charge required in addition to the booking fee.

Please note: there is a $250 deposit held during your stay in case of pet accidents and damage returned upon check-out. Accidents happen!

A maximum of one furry friend, up to 30lbs is allowed per room.

Leaving pets alone in the room, car or onsite is not permitted, and will result in immediate termination of the booking. Please come speak with the front desk if you or your furry friend need anything! We are here to help.

Kitchen Room Policy

Please do not cook with strong smelling ingredients as lingering smells will require room closure and deep cleans.  We also ask that all dishes are washed prior to check out.

Reservation Policy

Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival.

  • Our room rates are always awesome and, they are subject to change. Once your room is reserved, your price is guaranteed. Please note: Online travel agencies such as Booking.com and Expedia may have different pricing listed.
  • All rooms are subject to a 3% MRDT tax collected by the City of Penticton.
  • Please keep in mind maximum guest occupancy listed in Room Descriptions when booking. Exceeding guest occupancy or sneaking in additional guests will result in termination of the booking.


Room Cleaning

We are committed to lowering our environmental footprint and our water consumption.  Room refreshes will not be offered for stays less than 7 days. For stays greater than 7 days, should you need fresh towels or linen, please let the front desk staff know, and our housekeeping team will action the next day.

Parking

We have onsite parking available. However, due to the size of the parking lot, there is only one spot available for each room, and we cannot accommodate trailers or vehicles over 8ft long. It is the guests responsibility to arrange parking for additional and oversized vehicles.
  • There is one parking stall per room for registered guests. Parking is unassigned.
  • No trailers, boats or over height (8’) vehicles.
